Vill du skicka en motion till årstämman? / Would you like to propose a motion to the Annual Board Meeting?

En motion är ett förslag till en föreningsstämma. Tänk på att en väl genomarbetad motion gör det lättare för alla att förstå och ta ställning till godkännande eller avslag av motionen. En bra motion bör innehålla följande:

1. Rubrik – Talar om vad det rör sig om. Läser man rubriken skall det framgå att det handlar om en motion och ungefär vad den berör.
2. Bakgrund och syfte – Beskriv vad som är upprinnelsen till motionen, hur kom idén till motionen? Beskriv även vad syftet med motionen är.
3. Motivering – Argumentera för varför motionen behövs.
4. Yrkande – Formulera tydliga beslutsförslag som du anser att föreningen skall ta ställning till, förslagsvis formulerade som en eller flera att-satser.
5. Undertecknare – Vem eller vilka är det som står bakom motionen

När du skrivit din motion skickar du den till styrelsens mejl (styrelsen@brfursvikskulle.se) senast den 7 maj. Det går även att lämna en lapp i styrelsens brevlåda på Skrivargatan 31.

Styrelsen går igenom motionen och formulerar ett yttrande för hur de anser att motionen skall behandlas på stämman. När årsstämmans kallelse skickas ut så kommer din motion att vara upptagen på dagordningen och du får då vara beredd att själv presentera den på stämman.

A motion is a proposal for the Annual Board Meeting. Keep in mind that a well-prepared motion makes it easier for everyone to understand and take a position on the approval or rejection of the motion. A good motion should include the following:

1. Headline – Tells us what it is about.
2. Background and purpose – Describe what is the origin of the motion, how did the idea for the motion come about? Also write what the purpose of the motion is.
3. Justification – Argue for why the motion is needed.
4. Claim – Formulate clear decision proposals that you believe the association should take a position on.
5. Signatory – Who is behind the motion.

When you have written your motion, send it to the board’s email (styrelsen@brfursvikskulle.se) by May 7th. It is also possible to leave a note in the association’s mailbox at Skrivargatan 31.

The board reviews the motion and formulates an opinion on how they believe the motion should be handled at the meeting. When the Annual Board Meetings notice is sent out, your motion will be on the agenda, and you must then be prepared to present it yourself.
